Austin based Arrive Logistics is preparing for a massive wave of growth following a majority investment from Mubadala Capital, the global asset management arm of Mubadala Investment Company. While financial details of the deal remained private, the partnership signals a major turning point for the freight brokerage. The company plans to lean heavily into recruitment to support its expansion, with CEO and co founder Matt Pyatt announcing goals to add 1,000 new team members in 2026 alone, with further growth projected for 2027.

The infusion of capital is earmarked for more than just headcount. Arrive intends to diversify its service offerings beyond standard truckload operations, venturing deeper into specialized areas such as produce, cross border shipping, and less than truckload shipments. Beyond adding new services, the company is prioritizing security and reliability by increasing spending on risk management and cargo theft prevention measures to ensure customer trust remains intact during this scaling phase.

Technological innovation sits at the heart of the agreement. Arrive aims to accelerate the development of its proprietary ARRIVEnow transportation management system to automate workflows and drive down costs. Investors believe that leveraging artificial intelligence will provide a critical edge, allowing the firm to utilize its vast amount of proprietary data to increase productivity across its network of ten thousand carriers.

Despite the arrival of a global powerhouse like Mubadala, Pyatt emphasized that Arrive’s focus remains squarely on dominating the North American market. He noted that while they intend to strengthen their presence in Mexico and Canada to offer better integrated services, there are no immediate plans to pivot away from their regional roots. For current clients and employees, Pyatt promised it would be business as usual, asserting that the investment is designed to amplify what already works rather than overhaul the company’s established culture.
